Only one hand shake divide me form Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy or Colin Pharell, but being serious I have met today amazing photographer Barry McCall Photographer, he’s work is exhibited at Copper House Gallery, if you wanna join a ‘walk and talk’ he will give a next one next Tuesday at 18:30. Really worth it, if you love the portraits!

Malgorzata Stankiewicz, known as GoldGinger since 2006, is a polish born portrait photographer. Her main interests from the very beginning were people. Self-trained, she gained knowledge learning from professionals, in 2011 she started learning photography all over again by studying in DIT. At the moment her main interest is to rediscover and expand the field of human body.
“White Shapes Black” is a college project where the main subject is a human body. By experimenting with different lights, postures and poses the artist portrays various forms and shapes not always bringing to mind a body itself. The photographs are converted to black and white to avoid seeing the skin tone and to focus more on a shape than looking for something specific in the photo. The project is the beginning of an upcoming collection of photos concerning the human body in its many forms.

Today, in college, we are printing final 6 photos from our open brief. I was very sceptical about this assignment, as I have shoot only 2 models and still didn’t have this what I was looking for… but yesterday I had an another shoot which gave exactly this what I was looking for at very beginning.
And today, I looked at all the photos which I have done, and I wasn’t sure which six I should pick. I have used different lights for each shoot, different cropping and thanks to this I had different results, so should I mixed them? Or should I go with one style?
